Test Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Process

1.1

Bookings for the instructor's vehicle must be made at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability.

1.2

Any cancellations must be notified 48 hours before the scheduled test time to avoid a cancellation fee.

1.3

If the test needs to be canceled with the DVSA due to your instructor's recommendations, this must be done 3 working days in advance to avoid the test fee being charged and lost. Your instructor will not be held responsible for any fees incurred if not canceled within the deadline.

1.4

You must present a valid learner's permit on the day of the test.

1.5

Alps Driving School and your instructor reserve the right to reschedule the test due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or vehicle issues beyond our control.

2. Payment Terms

2.1

All test booking fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.

2.2

Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or credit/debit card.

2.3

Card payments will incur a £3.50 processing fee.

3. Liability and Insurance

3.1

Alps Driving School is not responsible for any personal property left in the vehicle during the test.

3.2

Our vehicles are insured for the duration of the test; however, the examinee may be liable for damages resulting from negligence or failure to follow the instructor's or examiner's guidance.

4. Success and Retesting

4.1

Passing the test is subject to meeting the standards set by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).

4.2

If retesting is required, you can book another test. As per DVSA guidelines, you must wait 10 working days before re-sitting the test.

5. Applicable Law

5.1

By booking a test with Alps Driving School, you agree to these terms and conditions, which are governed without regard to principles of conflict laws.
